Restoration of the aesthetics of the frontal group of teeth in one visit

The possibilities of direct restoration using modern materials can radically improve the condition and appearance of the teeth in a minimally invasive technique and with minimal time costs.
Clinical case

The patient applied for the treatment of anterior teeth. Previously, I did not contact the dentist.Damage to caries, other defects, or restoration of teeth in the lateral departments are absent. In this case, marked carious destruction of the hard tissues of the teeth 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, 23, as well as increased abrasion of the cutting edge of the front teeth (especially 11) and a deep bite are noted.

To solve the problem, a direct restoration technique was chosen. All stages of treatment, from preparation to polishing, were carried out under the control of magnification, and a Carl Zeiss OPMI Pico Mora surgical microscope was used. At all stages, the teeth were isolated using a cofferdam system. For restoration, Ceram.X Sphere Tec One and Esthet X HD (Dentsply Sirona) materials were used.

initial situation

Clammer 90N, thanks to the gum retraction, opened and allowed to repair the border of the defect in the gingival region.

After preparation, adhesive preparation was carried out using the total etching technique. The adhesive used was Prime & Bond one Etch & Rinse.

After that, tooth 13 was restored using the One Shade technique.

Only one shade was used – A4. Thanks to the Ceram.X Sphere Tec One chameleon effect, this restoration after rehydration looks natural.

Gentle dissection-oriented preparation was performed on all teeth.

Restoration of the side incisor. Adhesive treatment using the total etching technique using the Prime & Bond one Etch & Rinse bond.

Next, the dentin adhesive layer was reinforced with X-flow Composite Liquid to prevent tearing.

As opaque was used shade OA2 Esthet X HD.

The main enamel is B2 and the surface enamel is YE Esthet X HD.

In the tooth 11 an additional minimal preparation of the cutting edge was carried out in order to restore chips.

The preparation and restoration of teeth from the opposite side was carried out according to the same scheme.

The final look of the work.
